Since 2010 husband-wife team, Dr. Kyle and Teri Valentine, have been creating a unique med spa experience where they redefine aesthetics with a conservative yet results-driven approach. Specializing in nonsurgical anti-aging and body contouring, Dr. Valentine’s meticulous attention to detail and commitment to a gradual aesthetic journey sets them apart. Their mission is simple—build open and honest relationships so you feel confident in the transformative care they provide. When not treating patients Dr. Valentine and Teri enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with their six children.
Dr. Kyle Valentine
Kyle Valentine, DMD earned his doctorate in Dental Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University in 2008. Dr. Valentine went on to complete a residency through UCLA in Intravenous Sedation and become a credentialed provider at Adventist Hospital in Portland where he owned and operated a successful private practice focused on general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Valentine has a passion for continuing education and for developing his skills at a high level receiving certifications in the areas of oral plastic surgery, laser periodontal therapy and dental sleep medicine. He is also a proud member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, which is an organization of physicians, dentists and other healthcare professionals trained to provide the best non-surgical and non-invasive facial injectable techniques available today. Dr. Valentine is also an educator, teaching dentists, physicians and registered nurses the hands-on administration of Botox, Xeomin, Dermal Fillers, and PDO threads. He was also an instructor for dental hygiene students at Carrington college and taught Health and Fitness Nutrition at Warner Pacific College.
Patients appreciate that Dr. Valentine will take time to listen and understand their needs and carefully explain which treatment may be right for them. He believes in staying honest and setting the right expectations to develop trust over the course of your visits with us.
Born and raised in the Portland/Vancouver area, Dr. Valentine stays connected to the community and has worked as a volunteer dentist with several organizations, including Medical Teams International, Compassion Clinic, Give-Kids-A-Smile and with Clark County’s children’s health program.
He currently serves the community as a board member of the Jerome Kersey Foundation, creating smiles through dental care and education for children.
Teri Valentine
Teri is the co-owner and office manager of The Valentine Clinic. With over 27 years of commitment to the medical field, Teri has a diverse range of expertise. Her journey began in 1996 when she earned her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credentials from Portland Community College.Teri also received her certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) with education and experience as an assistant in oral surgery, orthodontics, radiology and IV Sedation. In the field of esthetics, she has a certification in Microneedling with radiofrequency and as a Neo Elite Laser technician.
Recognizing the importance of continuous learning, Teri has had the privilege to audit classes through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). These classes include Trigger Point Therapy, Dermal Fillers (including a master level class in lip augmentation), Botox, and PDO threads. In her role, Teri actively contributes valuable insights during in-office treatments, particularly in lip augmentation and PDO thread lift procedures.
Teri stays connected to the community as the President of the Jerome Kersey Foundation, creating smiles through dental care and education for children.
Kierra Hope
Kierra is a highly-skilled Esthetician with a passion for skincare and a commitment to helping others look and feel their best. She earned her certification from Portland Beauty School, showcasing her dedication to excellence in the field. Kierra’s journey into the world of esthetics continued as she joined The Valentine Clinic, where she had the privilege of working closely with Dr. Valentine, gaining valuable experience and knowledge.A lifelong learner, Kierra is driven by a desire to stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in skincare. Her intelligence, kindness, and compassion shine through in her approach to patient care. Kierra has undertaken additional training in various specialized treatments, including lasers, RF Microneedling, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and body contouring. She also specializes in both rejuvenating and medical grade facials. This diverse skill set allows her to offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
